ISFMI signed the Joint Statement of Support for the Call to Action on Integrated Fire Management and Wildfire Resilience

On November 6th, President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva presented the Call to Action on Integrated Fire Management and Wildfire Resilience at the COP30 Leaders Summit in Belém, inviting adoption by member states. ISFMI is pleased to be among the signatories and support this Call, including through collaboration on three reinforcing priority areas of particular importance concerning tropical wildfires:

  2. National ambition

  3. Financing
